Andrew Tanner departure
At the end of June we were sad to say goodbye to long-time Living Languages Trainer Andrew Tanner, who who has been a valued part of our team for the last four and a half years. Andrew joined Living Languages as a trainer in 2016, and as part of our training team, he has helped develop and deliver our different training programs and projects over the years. More recently, Andrew has worked with some young Gangulu people through a series of online workshops, supporting them as they delved into the grammar and documentation of their language.
Andrew also saw us through our name change process (from ‘RNLD’) in 2019, and was pivotal in implementing our new logo and designing and managing our new website. As well as this, he recently led us through the huge process of transforming our IT systems to make sure we can continue our work in more streamlined and collaborative ways, and to work with each other remotely.
Thank you for your contribution to the organisation, Andrew! We will miss you, and wish you all the very best for what your future holds!
